THANKS MIKE!!!!

  1. Also glad to hear Ike's guitar is back in shape. I'm sure he is very appreciative of it's repair too.

I also wonder where the groopeeze are?? Haven't heard from you folks in awhile.

  2. Well, I bought a Wechter Scheerhorn dobro to get me through Winfield and IBMA. Then, at IBMA, I bought a Beard Gold Tone dobro as a replacement. But the dang honest truth is that neither of these $600-$900 instruments even comes CLOSE to my old Regal. Thus, I took it to Mike Horan and asked him to do what he could. He called me a couple of days later and told me that the entire sound well was coming out of it- which sounds really bad, but is actually a GOOD THING. All he has to do is glue it back and it will probably be as good as it was before the Newark baggage handlers got ahold of it. Anyway, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. In the meantime, if anybody knows of somebody who wants to buy a Wechter Scheerhorn or a Beard Goldtone, send them my way. Thanks!

  3. Good to hear from you Deb. You can come to my house when you are finished with yours and remove the tiles from my bathroom walls. I hate them and the grout that is impossible to keep clean.

Good luck Wilder's in LA. recording your new CD.
